My approach as a therapist is to provide the guidance needed to develop and practice new patterns of behavior and skills, which in turn has the potential to not only benefit your life but also the lives of the people you care about the most. My clinical focus tends to be on improving communication, building and maintaining relationships, setting boundaries, and developing a sense of meaning in life. It is important for me to understand someone’s life narrative to help shift their way of thinking, feeling, and acting to be more congruent with who they want to be. ​An overarching theme in my work is supporting client’s to become more empowered by discovering ways to take ownership of their lives and make intentional decisions about how they want to move forward.

When applicable, I use assessment tools, innovative techniques, and direct clinical interventions to help support your goals. I am intentional in balancing my role as both someone who provides support and someone who challenges you to grow. Common topics of discussion include identifying harmful patterns, developing insight and awareness, and from there, trying something new with a different perspective. I am also trained in psychedelic assisted therapy and currently offering preparation and integration sessions to help people understand and develop meaning from their experiences. I am committed to maintaining a diverse, equitable, and inclusive practice, which serves as a safe harbor for people who identify as LGBTQIA, people of color, and people of the global majority.
